Little About Bollywood Heart Throb Amir Khan

A Padama Shri recipient India's highest civilian award Aamir Khan was born on 14 March 1965 in Mumbai, India to a family of film directors. His father Tahir Hussain is a producer of Hindi movies. His younger brother Faisal Khan has tried his hand at acting, though without any success. Amir Khan began his acting career as a child actor in movies such as 'Yaadon Ki Baraat' in1973, and 'Madhosh' (1974). His first movie as an adult was the hard hitting and dark 'Holi' (1984) directed by well known director Ketan Mehta. Mehta was to direct Khan again in 'Mangal Pandey - The Rising' (2005).

But the year of reckoning for Khan has to be 1988, when he acted as the leading man for the first time in 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak'. Khan's performance in this movie not only earned him rave reviews and colossal female fan following in India, but also established him as a 'young heart throb'. Early 90's saw many of his movies receive mixed reactions at the box office. However, his most successful films after Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak include 'Dil' (1990), 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander' (1992), 'Rangeela' (1995) and 'Raja Hindustani' (1996). Khan has also acted in many critically acclaimed movies such as 'Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke' (1993), for which he wrote the screenplay as well, 'Ghulam' (1998) that was a huge commercial hit, as 'Ice Candy Man' in Deepa Mehta's offbeat movie 'Earth-1947' (1998) and in the quintessential cop drama 'Sarfarosh' (1999).

2001 was again a year of reckoning and hyperactive activity and global acclaim for Khan. Two of his best films  'Lagaan' that was also nominated for the Oscars in the Best Foreign Language Film besides other numerous awards, and 'Dil Chahta Hai' a story about three friends in Urban India were resounding successes. Khan proved that if he could act the role of a poor farmer to perfection, he could also perfect the act of a super cool dude! And for three years Khan did not act in any movies. He came back with a bang in 2005 with 'Mangal Pandey: The Rising' that was declared the biggest flop of the year, and in 2006 he acted in 'Rang De Basanti' a movie that takes a look at patriotism and corruption in Urban and growing India. The movie was the biggest hit of the year and was selected as India's official entry to the Oscars though it failed to make the final five. But, it was short listed for the BAFTAs. His other film 'Fanaa' (2006) where he plays the role of a terrorist is also one of the highest grossing movies of the year.

American ROCK actor Tracy Morgan has come under fire yet again for remarks he made during a comedy show this time, for poking fun at the mentally disabled.“Don’t ever mess with women who have retarded kids,” Morgan told the audience during his performance at a Times Square comedy club in New York City on Saturday.Though the audience groaned, Morgan reportedly continued on with the touchy topic, and concluded with a bit about a girl he allegedly dated during his teen years whom he described as “a cripple.”The show marked the 42-year-old “Saturday Night Live” alum’s first comedy performance since he faced massive criticism for homophobic comments he made during a standup show earlier this month.

Morgan recently issued an apology after unleashing a slew of anti-gay remarks during a comedy show in Nashville on June 3.I want to apologize to my fans and the gay & lesbian community for my choice of words at my recent stand-up act in Nashville. I’m not a hateful person and don’t condone any kind of violence against others,” the “30 Rock” star said in a statement to Access on June 10.While I am an equal opportunity jokester, and my friends know what is in my heart, even in a comedy club this clearly went too far and was not funny in any context.Morgan’s comments made headlines after Kevin Rogers, who was in attendance at the June 3 show,“Why I No Longer ‘Like’ Tracy Morgan .who called himself a longtime fan of the actor,Morgan’s rant included the comedian saying he did not believe women could be lesbians and said if his son ever told him he was gay that he would stab him.

The program was designed to train civil servants for the federal government, a career that Falk said in his memoir that he had "no interest in and no aptitude for.He applied for a job with the CIA, but was rejected because of his membership in the Marine Cooks and Stewards Union while serving in the Merchant Marine, even though he was required to join and was not active in the union. He then became a management analyst with the Connecticut State Budget Bureau in Hartford.Falk characterized his Hartford job as "efficiency expert". "I was such an efficiency expert that the first morning on the job, I couldn't find the building where I was to report for work", he said in 1997. "Naturally, I was late, which I always was in those days, but ironically it was my tendency never to be on time that got me started as a professional actor.

Falk also studied with Eva Le Gallienne, who was giving an acting class at the White Barn Theatre in Westport, Connecticut. In May he appeared at Circle in the Square in a revival of The Iceman Cometh with Jason Robards, playing the bartender.

A theatrical agent advised Falk not to expect much film acting work because of his glass eye.He failed a screen test at Columbia Pictures and was told by studio boss Harry Cohn that "for the same price I can get an actor with two eyes." He also failed to get a role in the film Marjorie Morningstar despite a promising interview for the second lead. His first film performances were in small roles in Wind Across the Everglades (1958), The Bloody Brood (1959) and Pretty Boy Floyd (1960).Falk's performance in Murder, Inc. He was cast in the supporting role of killer Abe Reles, in a film based on the real life murder gang of that name, that had terrorized New York in the 1930s.The New York Times film critic Bosley Crowther, while dismissing the movie as "an average gangster film", singled out Falk's "amusingly vicious performance.

She experienced considerable hardship during her childhood, claiming to be raped at age nine and becoming pregnant at 14, her son died in infancy.Sent to live with the man she calls her father,a barber in Tennessee, Winfrey landed a job in radio while still in high school and began co-anchoring the local evening news at the age of 19. Her emotional ad-lib delivery eventually got her transferred to the daytime talk show arena, and after boosting a third rated local Chicago talk show to first place, she launched her own production company and became internationally syndicated.

Credited with creating a more intimate confessional form of media communication, she is thought to have popularized and revolutionized the tabloid talk show genre pioneered by Phil Donahue, which a Yale study claims broke 20th century taboos and allowed LGBT people to enter the mainstream.By the mid 1990s, she had reinvented her show with a focus on literature, self-improvement, and spirituality. Though criticized for unleashing confession culture, promoting controversial self-help ideas, and an emotion-centered approach, she is often praised for overcoming adversity to become a benefactor to others. From 2006 to 2008, her support of Barack Obama, by one estimate, delivered over a million votes in the close 2008 Democratic primary race.

Actress Lindsay Lohan Not Found in Violation of Probation Despite Failed Alcohol Test

Hollywood actress, pop singer and model Lindsay Lohan was back on the legal chopping block again on Thursday after testing positive for alcohol consumption while still under probation. She is currently serving 120 days under house arrest, which she was sentenced to after pleading no contest to stealing a $2,500 necklace from a Venice boutique while still under probation for a 2007 DUI charge. This time she caught a break, however, when it was found that the judge who required her to undergo controlled substances testing only required her to do so through Feb. 25.

She is  in compliance with the rules and laws of the State of California. She has obeyed all laws, she has done nothing wrong. You know, I feel like you guys are all disappointed to hear that, but the reality is she's done everything right this time,” said Lohan's lawyer, Shawn Holley, during a press conference. Lindsay is no longer restricted in what she can drink, but she is only allowed to have one friend over at any given time, plus any family members.

In 2007, though, she was caught driving under the influence twice and her time in and out of rehab has been widely documented. Though she has made some television and movie appearances in the last few years, her career has lost traction. In February, she was charged with felony grand theft, later reduced to amisdemeanor, after being accused of taking the aforementioned necklace.

Lohan has become as infamous for the trouble she makes as she is famous for her movies. She worked on a soap opera at age 10 and made her silver screen debut in the 1998 remake of “The Parent Trap” at age 11. As a young adult she appeared in films such as “Freaky Friday,” “Mean Girls,” and “Herbie: Fully Loaded,” and also pursued work as a singer.

Petra Ecclestone The little rich girl of Father Bernie Ecclestone

English heiress, model and fashion designer Petra Ecclestone is so slight and quiet that were it not for her perfectly blow-dried hair, Smartie-sized diamond earrings and gold Rolex watch, you might think Petra Ecclestone was just another well-heeled London girl. That would be quite a mistake, for this 22-year-old, who has never held down paid employment, is in the process of buying the kind of second home which would make a plutocrat green with envy. Her first property, a magnificent Grade II listed house in Chelsea, cost £56 million and is still being renovated. Her new house in Los Angeles, The Manor in the Holmby Hills, is the most expensive in America, and will set her back a further £91 million.

Actually, she isn't even planning to live in this gigantic pile full-time because she doesn't want to relocate to America. It's too far from her comfort zone of London nightclubs Tramp and Annabels and her dear friends, such as Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie."It's going to be a partial relocation,". But then Ecclestone  who collects £10,000 Hermes Birkin bags, Damien Hirst artwork and has five miniature dogs is quite a spending phenomenon. The youngest daughter of Formula One tycoon Bernie is a beneficiary of a family trust, believed to be held in Switzerland and worth around £2.4 billion.Although very close to her father, to whom she speaks every day, she is his polar opposite. He is, at 80, a workaholic who has amassed a huge fortune but has no time for any ostentation Ecclestone, though, is cut from rarer cloth. She counts shopping for vintage Alaia designs as bargain-hunting, and describes the large £80,000 diamond earrings given to her by fiance James Stunt as "cute". At their recent engagement party in Battersea, pop singer Rihanna was paid £250,000 to perform her fee presumably covered by the trust.

Bernie, it is said, worried about how Petra, and her older sister Tamara, will handle such wealth."The trouble is that they have nothing to do with their lives, no jobs and no ambitions," says a friend of Bernie's. "At least this LA house will give Petra something to do."But the house is a mish-mash of styles, also taking inspiration from the sweeping staircase in Gone With The Wind. There is parking for 100 cars, countless bedrooms, bathrooms and a bowling alley. And a whole floor for wardrobes.Ecclestone, rather famously, has many clothes, too. An interviewer who was invited to her home marvelled at her colossal wardrobe room, only to be told breezily that these were just her casual clothes and that she kept her evening wear in the next room.Next month or so Ecclestone is planning to launch a range of designer handbags titled Stark.Let's hope it is more of a success than her menswear range, Form, which went bust after only 14 months despite considerable financial assistance from her doting father.Despite Bernie's talk about his children being "level-headed", this should really come as no surprise because Ecclestone has been formidably spoiled. For her 12th birthday, Bernie hired the boyband Damage to play, as she was a fan, and also paid several of the EastEnders cast to attend. It cost him £300,000. Ecclestone "came out" at the Crillon Ball in Paris and was given a £6,000 watch for her 16th birthday.

She was expensively educated at London's Francis Holland girls' school and then went to a crammer for A-levels. She won a place at London art school Central St Martins, but never took it up. Instead, there has been a countless round of parties, and a spot of modelling and charity work instead. The Ecclestones' divorce, of course, was devastating for the girls, though their parents seemed the oddest of couples: Bernie tiny, stubborn and undemonstrative, Slavica a foot taller and brimming with jealousy and anger. The joke always told was that they were the same height when Bernie was standing on his wallet.
